The Piebald Inn

We stayed here in our motorhome. Decided to eat in the pub having seen the Pie menu. The meal was fabulous- could have shared one between two because to pie portion was huge! A bit disappointed by the cost of staying over night with electric hook up considering there were no showers and the electric was shut off sometime in the morning so we had to use our gas to boil the kettle.

This is the world's most interesting pie pub! It serves pies with a choice of 52 different fillings, from relatively normal steak & Guinness, through Moroccan tagine, to very spicy curry. There's also a good vegetarian selection. You can choose to accompany your pie with chips, mash or boiled spuds, & peas, mushy peas or mixed vegetables, &, of course, gravy (& an extra boat of gravy). The helpings are huge, so there's an option to box up half of your meal to take home & enjoy later. We've been several times & sampled different pies. We've never been disappointed. PS Good beer too!

Amazing pies - so much flavour and choice. The staff were brilliant, very knowledgeable and friendly and provided fantastic service all round. 100% recommend.

Stayed in the designated campervan park in our campervan for one night . Very welcoming and very helpful. Food was fantastic and a good selection of beers and not forgetting the pies (Wow). We will definitely return. Thank you

The food was fantastic. The pie crust was melt in the mouth and beautifully presented. The pie filling was very tender and succulent. The veg was cooked to perfection, with a lovely crunchy to the bite. The new potatoes were a great accompaniment to the pie, and so very tasty and more'ish. I cannot recommend this place enough, do yourself a favour and go try one of their 52 pies for yourself, you will not be disappointed.

Delicious pies!! This place is a pie lovers dream with 52 different pies. I went traditional with steak and Guinness pie and was not disappointed, packed with succulent steak and loads of flavour. The pastry was also delicious, one of those meals that you don't want to end. Also great service from the friendly staff. Will definitely be back!

So many pies to choose from 52 pie menu and fillings are very generous and the chips are homemade. I had the Cleveland pie and it was full of meat with a lovely pastry! Staff were so lovely and helpful. A really nice warm welcoming pub! Would definitely be back! Oh and they have a board to show how many of each pies are left! Great!

We park4anight there. Set in the beautiful village of Hunmanby near to Filey. There was a train track behind us but it didn't bother us at all. The morning train was about 6.30am. There is hook up and off grid, plenty of space to. £15 to park and you get a £10 food voucher. We were greated with a very warm welcom from the young man. There is 52 mouth watering pies to choose from, and it is only pies, you will not get fish and chips on the menue. Our meal was delicious but make sure you have an empty stomach, as the pies are very filling they have take away boxes available. Dogs are made very welcome and there is even a pie for them to. Location is great for the East coast.
